Join us at Purchases Bar & Restaurant for a special themed Father’s Day Sunday Lunch, created to make the occasion truly memorable. Gather your family, relax, and enjoy a delicious afternoon together in a warm and welcoming setting. Our Father’s Day Sunday Lunch will be served from 12pm – 3pm, with our bar remaining open until 5:30pm, giving you plenty of time to sit back, enjoy great food, raise a glass, and celebrate the day properly. Expect a carefully prepared menu designed for the occasion, great drinks from the bar, and a wonderful atmosphere to make Dad feel appreciated. Spaces are expected to fill up quickly for this popular day, so we recommend booking your table in advance to avoid disappointment. 🍴 Fish Night 🍴 Wednesday 24th June from 17:00 We’re proud to champion local produce and support local businesses — and there’s nothing better than seafood caught right on our doorstep. For one night only, join us for a special Fish Night, showcasing incredible seafood sourced exclusively from our local supplier, Something Fishy. Enjoy a beautifully curated 4-course menu, created in collaboration between Adam, owner of Something Fishy, and our Head Chef, Nick. 4 courses £105 per person Fresh seafood is always best, and this one-off event is all about celebrating it at its finest. Alongside our much-loved Sunday lunch service, our talented bar team is on hand and ready to shake, stir, and pour all your favourite cocktails, from the classics to something a little more adventurous. With chilled music setting the tone and a buzzing, sociable atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to unwind. Whether you’re catching up with friends, enjoying a relaxed date, or treating your parents to something special, we’ve got the setting just right. We’re open from 11am through to 5pm, giving you plenty of time to settle in, sip at your own pace, and soak up the sunshine in our courtyard, arguably one of the best spots in town to enjoy those golden afternoon rays.  

The Return of Our Chilled Summer BBQ After the fantastic response to our first event, we’re excited to announce the return of our Chilled Summer BBQ at Purchases. This relaxed summer event is the perfect chance to make the most of our beautiful courtyard garden, bringing together great food, refreshing drinks and live music in a laid back atmosphere. Our chefs will be cooking in our garden, while our bar will be fully stocked and ready to keep the drinks flowing all evening. Whether you're coming along to enjoy the music, the food, or simply the summer vibe with friends, it’s set to be a brilliant night. Doors open from 4pm, giving you plenty of time to settle in and enjoy the atmosphere. DJ Ziggy will be getting things started and setting the tone until 6pm, before live music from Joe Dunsford, whose lively set and sing-along favourites are guaranteed to keep the energy going. Tickets go on sale Monday 27th April at 11am, and if the last event was anything to go by, they won’t be around for long so be sure to grab yours early!

When the Goodwood Festival of Speed arrives, Chichester transforms into a paradise for motorheads and car enthusiasts. With more than 300,000 visitors attending over four incredible days, the city truly comes alive with the spirit of motorsport. Purchases Bar & Restaurant will be open throughout the festival, serving: • Lunch from 12pm • Dinner from 5pm Our garden will be open all day, offering drinks and light bites, the perfect place to relax after a day at the festival. We strongly recommend booking your dinner table as early as possible, as spaces are filling quickly. Please note that we won’t be taking reservations for drinks only. ✨ Goodwood Revival ✨ It’s that time of year again, Goodwood Revival is here, and this year marks a special celebration of 100 years of Maserati. A wonderful showcase of classic motoring, vintage fashion, and timeless entertainment returns to the Goodwood Estate, welcoming thousands of visitors. Vintage attire is encouraged, and at Purchases, we are delighted to embrace the spirit of the occasion. During the Revival, we will be open daily for lunch and dinner from 12:00pm to 9:00pm, offering the ideal setting for both pre- and post-festival dining. Our bar will also be open from 11:00am to 11:00pm, serving a selection of expertly crafted cocktails, fine wines, and perfectly poured lagers.
