A proper Sunday lunch with the family While we may not be handing out Easter eggs, we’ll certainly be serving up something just as enjoyable, a delicious Sunday lunch, perfect for gathering friends and family around the table. Purchases Bar & Restaurant will be open throughout the entire Easter weekend, so why spend hours in the kitchen when you can relax and let us take care of the cooking? Join us for great food, a welcoming atmosphere and a well-deserved break from the washing up. Here are our Easter Weekend kitchen opening times: Saturday 4th April Lunch – 12:00–14:30 Dinner – 17:00–21:00 Easter Sunday Sunday Lunch – 12:00–15:00 Bank Holiday Monday Lunch – 12:00–14:30 Dinner – 17:30–20:30 And don’t forget, our bar is open all day, every day. The return of Our much loved Tapas & Wine Night! Back by popular demand, our Tapas & Wine Night is returning to Purchases and this time we’re making it even more special by hosting it on World Tapas Day. For this one-off evening, our talented team of chefs have carefully curated a menu designed to celebrate the vibrant flavours and relaxed spirit of traditional tapas. Each dish has been created to be enjoyed in the true tapas style, shared among friends while sipping great wine and enjoying great company. The evening will feature a fixed menu of seven delicious tapas dishes, served with carefully chosen accompaniments, giving you the chance to experience a variety of flavours and textures across the meal. It’s the perfect opportunity to indulge in something a little different and enjoy a relaxed, sociable dining experience. Celebrate Father’s Day at Purchases Father’s Day is a special time to recognise and celebrate the father figures in our lives. Whether it’s your dad, stepdad, grandfather, mentor, or someone who has always been there for you. Join us at Purchases Bar & Restaurant for a special themed Father’s Day Sunday Lunch, created to make the occasion truly memorable. Gather your family, relax, and enjoy a delicious afternoon together in a warm and welcoming setting. Our Father’s Day Sunday Lunch will be served from 12pm – 3pm, with our bar remaining open until 5:30pm, giving you plenty of time to sit back, enjoy great food, raise a glass, and celebrate the day properly. Expect a carefully prepared menu designed for the occasion, great drinks from the bar, and a wonderful atmosphere to make Dad feel appreciated. Spaces are expected to fill up quickly for this popular day, so we recommend booking your table in advance to avoid disappointment. The Return of Our Chilled Summer BBQ After the fantastic response to our first event, we’re excited to announce the return of our Chilled Summer BBQ at Purchases. This relaxed summer event is the perfect chance to make the most of our beautiful courtyard garden, bringing together great food, refreshing drinks and live music in a laid back atmosphere. Our chefs will be cooking in our garden, while our bar will be fully stocked and ready to keep the drinks flowing all evening. Whether you're coming along to enjoy the music, the food, or simply the summer vibe with friends, it’s set to be a brilliant night. Doors open from 4pm, giving you plenty of time to settle in and enjoy the atmosphere. DJ Ziggy will be getting things started and setting the tone until 6pm, before live music from Joe Dunsford, whose lively set and sing-along favourites are guaranteed to keep the energy going. Tickets go on sale Monday 6th April at 11am, and if the last event was anything to go by, they won’t be around for long so be sure to grab yours early!

When the Goodwood Festival of Speed arrives, Chichester transforms into a paradise for motorheads and car enthusiasts. With more than 300,000 visitors attending over four incredible days, the city truly comes alive with the spirit of motorsport. Purchases Bar & Restaurant will be open throughout the festival, serving: • Lunch from 12pm • Dinner from 5pm Our garden will be open all day, offering drinks and light bites, the perfect place to relax after a day at the festival. We strongly recommend booking your dinner table as early as possible, as spaces are filling quickly. Please note that we won’t be taking reservations for drinks only. And when the gates close at Goodwood, the celebrations don’t have to stop, join us to keep the festival spirit going into the evening.
