- Start your long bank holiday weekend with a tasty Hot Cross Bun at Pallant Café, located at Pallant House Gallery just a minute walk from East Street. The delicious spiced, fruity bun symbolises Easter and is best served toasted with butter! Definitely the best way to kick start your weekend celebrations...
- Get your shopping shoes on, most stores will be closed on Easter Sunday although will be open the rest of the weekend. Make the most of the long weekend and visit Draper’s Yard on Good Friday or Saturday, a whole village of sheds housing different businesses, tucked away just minutes from East Street. There is a delightful mix, ranging from art to textiles; coffee to hairdressing and jewellery to ceramics.
- If the sun is shining, take a walk down by the Chichester canal and see all the flowers coming into bloom before heading back into town for a well earnt drink or two. If walking isn't suitable for you, book an Easter Bunny boat trip and enjoy a leisurely Springtime trip along the water. Keep your eyes open for the elusive Easter Bunny!
- The Novium Museum on Tower Street in central Chichester are hosting an easter egg hunt for children on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st March, hunt for the hidden eggs around the museum before collecting your reward. £3 per child - just drop in, no need to book.
If you are looking for more of a child-free break away this weekend, join us in the Purchases garden from Saturday 31st March for live music from our resident DJ! The bar will be serving up plenty of cocktails and the lively vibes continue until Sunday night.
